As Northern Colorado’s trusted generator specialists, Eggers Electric delivers comprehensive power solutions across the entire NoCo region. Our licensed electricians provide full-service generator installations and preventive maintenance in:
Most residential generator installations are completed in one day (6-8 hours) once permits are approved and materials arrive. Larger systems or installations requiring extensive electrical upgrades may take 2 days. Windsor’s permitting process typically adds 5-10 business days to the overall timeline.
Our certified electricians perform a detailed load analysis of your Windsor home to determine the right generator size. Most Windsor homes (1,500-3,500 sq ft) need 16kW-24kW generators to power essentials like heating, refrigeration, and home offices. Larger custom homes in developments like Water Valley may require 30kW+ units.
Absolutely. We install generators for Windsor homeowners, local businesses, medical facilities, and agricultural operations throughout the area. From whole-house backup systems to large commercial standby units serving Windsor’s growing business district, we have the expertise for any project size.
Every installation follows Windsor’s electrical codes and setback requirements (5 feet from property lines, 10 feet from openings). Our licensed electricians handle all Town of Windsor permitting, coordinate with Xcel Energy for utility connections, and perform comprehensive testing. All work meets Windsor’s noise ordinances and HOA requirements where applicable.
Your generator is installed exclusively by Eggers Electric’s licensed, bonded electricians—never subcontractors. Our team knows Windsor’s specific codes, works regularly with town inspectors, and averages 15+ years of experience with Northern Colorado installations.
Windsor’s climate—from sub-zero winters to 90+ degree summers—requires generators designed for temperature extremes. We recommend cold-weather packages for reliable winter starting and suggest bi-annual maintenance to handle Windsor’s seasonal temperature swings.
