Light paths, gardens and your home’s exterior.
Updated controls that match your fixtures.
We find the cause, from a dimmer to a loose connection.
An 8-point electrical safety check plus your detailed estimate. The $89 is credited toward your job if you move forward. It’s only due if you decide not to go ahead.
The 8 points: electrical panel, main grounding & bonding, GFCI protection, smoke & CO detectors, outlets & switches, visible wiring, exterior electrical, and whole-home surge protection. Each one is marked Pass or Needs Attention.

How to plan lighting that works for each room, what changes when you add fixtures, and what to ask before you buy.
Think in layers. Ambient light lights the whole room, task light covers where you work, like counters, desks and vanities, and accent light shows off art, shelves or a fireplace. Most rooms that feel dark have one ceiling fixture doing all three jobs. We walk the room with you and suggest where each layer goes before anything is cut or wired.
Color temperature is measured in kelvin. Warmer light (about 2700K–3000K) feels cozy in living rooms and bedrooms. Neutral to cooler light (3500K–4000K) is crisp in kitchens, garages and work areas. Keep one color temperature per room so fixtures match. If you’re unsure, we can bring samples so you can see the difference in your space.
Often, yes. Older dimmers were built for incandescent bulbs and can make LEDs flicker, buzz or not dim all the way down. We match each dimmer to the fixtures it controls. Use an LED-compatible dimmer from the fixture maker’s list.
Usually, yes. Remodel (wafer) recessed lights fit into finished ceilings. Where they touch insulation, they must be IC-rated, and airtight models help keep heated air out of the attic. We check framing, insulation and what’s above the ceiling first, and most jobs don’t need major drywall work.
Not always. Because LEDs use much less power, you can often add lights to an existing circuit. We'll confirm the circuit can handle it. If a new circuit is needed, we tell you up front.
We handle vaulted ceilings, stairwells, chandeliers, fans and outdoor fixtures, including motion lights and dusk-to-dawn controls. Outdoor fixtures need to be rated for wet or damp locations, and we seal and protect connections so they hold up to Colorado weather.
“I had a ceiling fan installed by “Sterling”, who also took the time to set up the Bond Home app and wrote down all the instructions and temporary password for me. (He did it on his phone to be sure it worked.) I was out of town at that time (a part was missing, that the retailer had to ship, so he had to make 2 trips) but I trusted him completely after the first appointment, and Egger’s is the preferred vendor in my condo…”
