An 8-point electrical safety check plus your detailed estimate. The $89 is credited toward your job if you move forward. It’s only due if you decide not to go ahead.

The 8 points: electrical panel, main grounding & bonding, GFCI protection, smoke & CO detectors, outlets & switches, visible wiring, exterior electrical, and whole-home surge protection. Each one is marked Pass or Needs Attention.

Do smart switches need a neutral wire?

Many do. A neutral wire powers the switch’s electronics. Some older homes don’t have a neutral in the switch box. We check your wiring and recommend a switch that works, or add the wiring if needed.

Why do my LED lights flicker on a smart dimmer?

The dimmer and bulbs may not be compatible, or the dimmer may need adjusting for LED loads. We match smart dimmers to your bulbs and set them up to help prevent flicker and buzzing.

Can you install a video doorbell?

Yes. Video doorbells need the right voltage from the doorbell transformer. We check the transformer and wiring and upgrade the transformer if your doorbell needs it.

Can I install smart switches myself?

Swapping a switch means working inside a live electrical box. A licensed electrician can confirm the wiring, the box size and the circuit before installing, which helps prevent overheating and shock hazards.

Will smart switches work with my Wi-Fi or smart speaker?

Most smart switches connect through Wi-Fi or a hub and work with popular voice assistants. Tell us which system you use and we’ll help you pick compatible devices.
