An 8-point electrical safety check plus your detailed estimate. The $89 is credited toward your job if you move forward. It’s only due if you decide not to go ahead.

The 8 points: electrical panel, main grounding & bonding, GFCI protection, smoke & CO detectors, outlets & switches, visible wiring, exterior electrical, and whole-home surge protection. Each one is marked Pass or Needs Attention.

Do you wire new homes and additions?

Yes. We wire new homes, additions and ADUs. We focus on residential projects.

Who handles permits and inspections?

We do. We pull the electrical permit and schedule the rough-in inspection before walls are closed, then the final inspection when the work is finished.

What code requirements apply to a new home?

New homes are built to the electrical code adopted where you live. That generally includes arc-fault (AFCI) and ground-fault (GFCI) protection, tamper-resistant outlets, an outdoor emergency shutoff for the electrical service, and hardwired, interconnected smoke and CO alarms. Some local codes also require EV-ready or solar-ready wiring. We build to the requirements of your city or county.

Can you plan for an EV charger or generator?

Yes. Planning for an EV charger circuit, a generator connection or extra panel capacity during construction is usually easier and less costly than adding it later.

When should I bring in an electrician?

As early as possible, ideally when plans are being finalized. That gives us time to review the layout, size the service and coordinate with your builder.
